About

A storyteller from way back, being a writer is really the only thing I know how, and want to do. Also, I’m a geeky girly girl; I love the color pink and frilly things, but then there’s the geek side that plays RPGs and likes big action summer blockbusters.  I just do.  The Sis and I have moved back to the Los Angeles area so I can continue to make my way in “the business” as a screenwriter, and (finally) afford that country estate in England.

Inspiration:  Enya, Jane Austen, England, John William Waterhouse, Selina Fenech, Claude Theberge, and the many talented artists on Deviant Art, with special consideration for Jim Henson, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas for their heavy influences on my childhood.

These are a few of my favorite things:  Fairytales, Elizabeth I, both Classical and Epic Soundtrack music, the Dragon Age series (I’m obsessed), 80s Music and Movies, Disney(land), period pieces/historical anything & everything, including the fashion, landscapes, architecture, and castles…the list could go on and on…

These are a few of my favorite things – TV:  The badass women of Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and La Femme Nikita, all of which I can watch over and over.  Then there’s Battlestar Galactica, Archer, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Bob’s Burgers, The Man in the High Castle, Parks & Rec, Schitt’s Creek, and so many more…

These are a few of my favorite things – Movies:  Everything I’ve seen by Billy Wilder.  Same goes (mostly) for William Holden, Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, and Cate Blanchett.  Amelie, Braveheart, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Dark Crystal, The Princess Bride, Pride & Prejudice (1995 & 2005), Sense and Sensibility, Inglourious Basterds, Disney Princess films (in general, because I’m a princess), and Pixar films. This list will always continue to grow, but as the title suggests these are “a few”…

These are a few of my favorite things – Books:  All Roald Dahl and Jane Austen.  The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Timeline by Michael Crichton, A Knight In Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux, Paradise by Judith McNaught, and Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk.

And not to be left out of the fandom realm, I’m some sort of amalgamation.  I’m an Elizabethan Janeite SuperWhoLock Cylon Princess??  Sure, let’s go with that.
